I’m currently watching “The Killers Live at the Royal Albert Hall” on DVD. I no longer consider myself much of a fan, but it is a very nice show they are putting on, and watching BFlo on stage reminded me of something:
I was watching “Love, Honour & Obey” the other night but it simply wasn’t my cup of tea. It had too many scenes that I found gross, and too many characters that I deemed disgusting. I felt like quitting after the first third but decided to fast-forward through the rest to see if it would… improve. It didn’t, but I did a touble-take at the end because I thought Brandon Flowers was making a cameo. Unlikely, since The Killers weren’t on the radar yet when “Love Honour and Obey” was released. No, it was Jonny Lee Miller singing karaoke. Here’s the YouTube video, uploaded by toyzruskid. Isn’t the resemblance uncanny? At least one other YouTube user seems to agree.
I’m still getting a lot of page hits by people looking for pictures of Brandon Flowers and his wife Tana Munblowksy or Mundkowsky – spelling variations of her former surmame vary, I personally hope it is the latter.
So I hate luring people here not giving them what they want. Therefore I’ll give you the best I could do – I found something, but it’s not much. Part of that is because the major Killers forums go with the “we don’t talk about their private lives here because we respect them so much”-policy. Bullshit. We all know that the major reason is that about 90% of fans love them because they’re in love with Brandon Flowers (that would exclude me), and a fairly high percentage of those 90% then hate his wife per se – she could be the reincarnation of Mother Theresa and there would still be plenty of bitching going on. No server could take countless entries along the lines of “OMG!!!!!!11111 how cud she take my Brandon from me! she suxxxxx”, or other similarly enthusiastic posts slightly out of touch with reality.
As far as I’m concerned, at least two of The Killers brought “dates” to the VMAs, and one of the ladies, who happened to be Brandon’s wife, was photographed by – and obviously, posing for – wireimage.com, well so much for privacy. Therefore I posted the preview thumbnails that Wire Image gives us here. If you’re interested in the real deal, fire up your subscription and off you go!

It’s been all over the news today, but apparently Brandon Flowers got married to his long-time girlfriend Tana Munblowsky, “an Urban Outfitters retail manager”, in a secret ceremony in Hawaii. However, that apparently happened on Tuesday – so double kudos to everyone involved for both keeping the ceremony secret, and then making it public today.
Now I won’t deny that I would like to see pictures, LOL. But it’s great that they managed to keep this special day all to themselves. I’ve always liked Brandon and never really understood why so many people out there are dead set on slagging him off. They’re probably just jealous because let’s face it, a man can hardly be any more gorgeous than him. Note I said “gorgeous”, and not “attractive” – because that scale is pretty infinite Anyway, congrats to him and his wife, and all the best for their future.
