Wow, I know Metallica isn’t exactly an attractive band, but this has got to be one of the most unflattering promo pictures that I have seen in a very long time! It would entice me to buy the record because…. ? I don’t know. Haven’t heard any of their Rick Rubin-produced stuff yet but I pretty much lost all of my respect for the band – not that there was a lot to begin with – after watching their oh-so-frank-and-vulnerable documentary on Arte. What a bunch of turds (except for Kirk Hammett, who seems like a decent guy stuck with a bunch of egomaniacs). Don’t sue me, Lars Ulrich. Last time I checked, free speech was still that: Free. Ha!
