Feels Almost Wrong to Be This Excited About “The Runaways”…

Wow, this “article” has left me fuming (mind you, I’m in a pretty bad mood today as it is). Has it ever occurred to these so-called “experts” that Shiloh is the one selecting her own clothes?
I don’t see any of the other Jolie-Pitt kids wearing clothes that are traditionally (I don’t agree with these traditions) attributed to the opposite gender, so it’s safe to assume that it is indeed not some little game their parents like to play with them. No, the alternative and more likely scenario is that Shiloh may in fact have gender dysphoria, also known as gender identity disorder (GID), which usually manifests itself from birth. Brad Pitt also had this to say about Shiloh when he was on Oprah:
“She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing. So we’ve got to call her John. ‘Shi, do you want …’ – ‘John. I’m John.’ And then I’ll say, ‘John, would you like some orange juice?’ And she goes, ‘No!’ So, you know, it’s just that kind of stuff.”
Yes, it’s just that kind of stuff. I’m pretty certain that the Jolie-Pitts would actually be the sort of cool parents who wouldn’t have a problem with their daughter having gender dysphoria or being a lesbian or whatever. I just wish the media would cut them some slack once in a while. They are actually doing the one thing that respectable child therapists do suggest - they let their children be. So why is it that only the stupid and crazy ones are given a voice by the media??
This is so very sad, I felt like someone had punched me in the stomach when I found out that she has passed away. What is also freaking me out a bit is the fact that I had “Petites boîtes” stuck in my head all day yesterday, and then actually sat down and spent some time thinking about her. Then I ended up googling the lyrics to “Beauty Mark”, a song that Rufus had written about her, and watched a couple of McGarrigle family YouTube videos. What a great loss. 
Why is it always the good people that have to decease before their time? I’m so upset, I don’t even want to imagine what her family must be going through.
and now this fabulous Morrissey magazine picture is gone. Dammit, I should have bought it right away.

Oh, Dakota Fanning is on the alternative cover, but it’s not a good one. I’d definitely buy Gabby’s if I could!
