I saw this promo pic for tonight’s episode of “True Blood” and I was like, “WTF?”
Oh that was really lovely. Brussels is definitely one of my favourite cities in Europe. And it has the best waffles, LOL. #travels
#I was watching the highlights of this year’s V Festival on TV the other day and kept thinking that “highlights” is a notion that has become somewhat watered down in recent years. Most of the live performances were pathetic. From the looks and sounds of it, being to be able to, you know, actually sing or play an instrument has become secondary to looking good and wearing a nice outfit. And prancing around on stage.
I was pretty much ready to change the channel when Elbow came on. They were better than all of the previous acts combined. Great voice? Check. Great band? Check. Being able to engage the crowd? Check.* There are not many bands like this one left. Let’s celebrate them while we still can, shall we?
* And I would like to add that I think the singer is a sexy bitch, lol. That beard…. rrrrr
