[english]Sorry for yet another incredibly lame punny headline. As you will be able to see fairly soon, there won’t be a CSS Reboot on May 1 for this site. I was waiting for the stable release of K2 which was announced to be “just around the corner” four weeks ago – and then was released only yesterday.
In the meantime, Thomas told me about Tumblr and it sounded like fun, so I signed up for an account. The link is above in the menu header, or here: http://tumblr.hellagood.de. It is a lot of fun indeed, but I really wish there was a way to make the Tumblr posts show up in WordPress too.

[german]Das neue Layout ist leider nicht wie versprochen zum 1.5. fertig geworden. Dies lag allerdings nicht an einer etwaigen Lethargie meinerseits, sondern an der Tasache, dass die bereits vor vier Wochen angekündigte WP 2.5-kompatible Version 6 von K2 gestern erst erschienen ist.
Damit der Selbstdarstellungspegel nicht in kritische Werte abrutschen konnte, habe ich mir dank einer Empfehlung von Thomas einen Tumblr-Account zugelegt. Einblick in diesen findet man unter dem obrigen Reiter, oder direkt unter http://tumblr.hellagood.de. Schade dass es kein Plugin zur Integration von Tumblr-Beiträgen in WordPress gibt. So richtig überzeugt bin ich von dieser zweigleisigen Sache jetzt eigentlich nicht.[/german]

Come on, I can’t be the only person who’s disappointed by Madonna’s latest single, “4 Minutes”? In fact I know I’m not, someone told me so last night. There was this hair care promo a few weeks ago, featuring an instrumental version of the song. Hell, that got me excited! A great beat and some fine synth tunes – I thought the song sounded really promising. Then I heard that Justin Timberlake was going to be on it and grew a little wary, but decided to push my resentments aside and be objective, after all he was just going to be featured. THEN, the eventual song was released upon mankind, and it’s a friggin’ Justin Timberlake single barely featuring Madonna, I hate it! The best bit is the “tick tock, tick tock” thing towards the end, how lame.
But obviously, Madonna being the “official” artist performing the song, it’s going to be huge. I was at a large electronics store yesterday and somehow they felt the need to play the song twice in a row, gah! It’s going to be a loooooong summer for me, seeing that I’m really sick of it already.
