Thanks to Velvetpark for the heads-up that Daniela Sea is on the cover of their current issue. Their website also features a podcast with Daniela and Bitch.
Sadly I seem to be unable to get my hands on the current issue and don’t want to shelf out $37 on a magazine subscription for just that one magazine. Even I am not that crazy. Yet.
I seem to be on my way quite steadily though because I have just updated my screenshot gallery with a total of 154 pics from episode 3, “Lobsters”, and had to split it into two parts because apparently iWeb has a hard time handling pages that feature more than 100 pics, boo!
I thought this particular episode was brilliant and will try to write a short comment on it tomorrow.
I’m getting a lot of page hits from people looking for these, so here they are!

Last week saw the involuntary outing of two stars. Well, one. The other one is… a pretty face – at best. I am talking about Richie Stringini. “Who is Richie Stringini?” you may be wondering. I envy you – for I know, and I have suffered. Richie Stringini is one fifth of the boygroup US5 (pronounced “us five”, and not, as I had always thought, “u. s. five”), a supposedly international and cast-by-pure-talent conglomerate of a “rocker”, a “shy guy”, a “rapper”, a guy who’s either German, French or British, and whose role other than “slimeball” I’ve failed to figure out, and the “beachboy”, i.e. Richie. Because this doesn’t sound gay enough already (think 21st century Village People), Richie was caught in the bathroom of a well-know Berlin gay bar, with another guy inside the stall with him.
So far, usual boygroup behaviour as far as I’m concerned. Continue reading ‘Dragged Out Of The Closet’
For those of you not yet acquainted with the sheer brilliance that is Martha Wainwright, here are two live tracks from Aussie TV show “RocKwiz” that should transform you into a fan, or so I hope. I’d usually prefer a high male voice to a female voice any day (ok, that sounds weird!), but there is no singing voice I like better than Martha’s. And oddly, I find the way she sings “Oh baby baby, are you sure?” quite sexy, lol.

This may be temporary because I haven’t fully figured out a hosting plan yet, and also I don’t know whether I will have the time to update this every week, but in the meantime, please feel free to visit my gallery of screencaps from The L Word Season 3 featuring Daniela Sea’s character on the show.
Just a quick note – I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth, nor have I decided to call it quits with this blog. To be perfectly honest, I’ve just been having a little too much fun in real life, and the little time I had to spare for this blog has been spent on “behind the scenes”-stuff, mainly trying to use the K2 theme.
I’m also working on a gallery featuring Daniela Sea screen shots from “The L Word”, and a couple of other features, which will hopefully be online in a couple of days tops.
“You guys used to be inseparable – what happened?” is a question which Alex, a chef, organizer of “April’s Shower” and bridesmaid-to-be, has to face in this wonderful comedy of trials and tribulations.
She is trying to be the perfect host of her best friend April’s bridal shower, which is attended by a shrill array of friends ranging from an adult movie film star to a crazy Scotsman. Among plenty of sidetracking and poking from the guests, she is finally coming to terms with what has happened between her and April.
There is great chemistry between the main protagonists Alex (Trish Doolan) and April (Maria Cina), so much in fact that I often found myself wishing that the party guests would leave some more room to the two of them. On the other hand, every single one of the supporting characters was drawn with a meticulous love for details and quirks, ultimately making this film something that the recent offerings in lesbian films have neglected: a film that can be enjoyed by everyone – even the sort of people who have just banned “Brokeback Mountain” from their cinemas if they could only learn a thing or two from April’s conservative Mom.
This is a definitive feel-good-movie that is as delicious as the food that is being served by the lovely Alex – and just like the party-goers, you will walk away from this film feeling like you have been handed a treat.
“April’s Shower” is coming to selected theatres January 13 and to here! Networks.

I’m currently reading the live feed from MWSF at MacRumors, and the PowerBook is a product of the past now. Hello to the new MacBook Pro, “the fastest notebook ever” as introduced by the ever-so-modest Steve Jobs. Intel Processor, 4-5 times faster than the PowerBooks, cinema-bright display, built-in iSight, IR with Apple Remote Control – sounds like one hell of a great machine! From what I’ve gathered, there won’t be a 12″ model any longer, and prices range from $2000 to $2500 – which means I’m definitely keeping my “baby”, the 12″ PB G4 1.33GHz!
